Lan Elliott, Managing Director
Lan Elliott is a Managing Director of REH Capital Partners, LLC based in Bethesda, MD, where she co-leads service delivery for the Firm in the Washington D.C. area and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Ms. Elliott's primary focus is on hotel investment, transactional services, and strategic advisory services within the hospitality industry.
Ms. Elliott became reassociated with REH in 2022 under a contractual arrangement with the Firm. Prior to her reassociation with REH, she held senior positions in capital investments, transactions and development with IHG and W Hotels, and spent over 10 years at Host Hotels & Resorts, where she closed on transactions totaling over $7 billion. Earlier in her career, Ms. Elliott held senior positions in real estate and hospitality advisory services with KPMG.
Ms. Elliott has over 26 years of diversified and extensive experience with hotel and hospitality related investments and transactions. Throughout her professional career, Ms. Elliott has compiled a successful and impressive track record in sourcing, vetting, structuring, and negotiating hundreds of strategic hotel investment and development deals throughout the US, Europe, and the Caribbean Region.
Ms. Elliott serves as Co-Chair of the non-profit Castell@College, an AHLA Foundation Project, for which she is a recipient of the 2022 Industry Recognition Award from the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education. She also serves as a Board Member, Principal, and Interview Host of DEI Advisors, a recently-formed non-profit dedicated to empowering personal success in the hospitality industry.
Ms. Elliott is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Hotel Development Council and serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the University of Denver’s Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management.
Ms. Elliott earned a B.S. in Hotel Administration, with a concentration in hospitality development from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and an M.B.A. with concentration in real estate finance from Cornell University. Ms. Elliott is also a co-founder and principal of Acacia Hospitality, which owns interests in four city-center convention hotels.
