REH served as consulting advisor to an affiliate of a prominent, multi-national financial services company and owner and developer of the former Hyatt Regency Curaçao Golf Resort. The assignment evolved into a role as consulting expert and testifying expert on behalf of the owner in a commercial arbitration with Hyatt Hotels in a hotel management contract dispute pertaining to the operation, marketing, and management of the Resort. REH also assisted the owner in transitioning to another prominent hotel management company and advising the owner on other strategic matters.

Services: Operational review, forensic analysis, management contract review, compliance assessment, expert analysis and testimony, and post-termination business advisory assistance.
Features: 350-room luxury resort hotel located in the Santa Barbara Plantation on the Island of Curaçao, part of the Dutch Commonwealth of Nations. The Santa Barbara Plantation is a 1,500-acre oceanfront, mixed-use resort and residential community located in Porta Blancu, Nieuwpoort on the southeastern end of the Island. In addition to the Hotel, Santa Barbara is comprised of the 18-hole “Old Quary” Golf Course, a 120-slip marina, the Peter Burwash tennis complex, single family and multi-unit residential neighborhoods, various commercial facilities, and future land for development.
