Project: Papagayo Bay Resort & Residences,  Guanacaste, Costa Rica - Development Consultant and Financial Advisor

Services: Development planning, funding strategy, underwriting, residential marketing strategy, and owner representation in capital sourcing.

Features: As planned, the luxury hotel will feature 167 guest rooms (keys), including 41 suites, a large resort spa, eight uniquely curated food and beverage outlets, three inclined elevators for vertical guest transport, and various luxury resort amenities and facilities.  The private homes section of the resort is planned for 20 branded luxury apartments and 21 branded villa homes as well as a private clubhouse with its own fitness center, restaurant, bar, and pool.

Assignment Profile

REH served as business and financial advisor to an international developer of an ultra-luxury branded resort and residences in the Papagayo Bay Area in the Guancaste Province of Costa Rica.  Services included evaluating and refining an economic plan and funding strategy for the project, assisting in developing a strategy for marketing and selling the residential component of the project, and developing a program for sourcing potential funding participants for the project.
