Project: Keauhou Resort, Big Island, Hawaii - Resort Repositioning Strategy and Financial Advisor

Services: Development planning, funding strategy, underwriting, resort marketing strategy and JV partner sourcing.

Features: This 2,400-acre resort is owned by a subsidiary of Kamehameha Schools which sponsors cultural events at the facilities. The resort includes two large hotels, the 22.9-acre Keauhou Shopping Center, two golf courses, timeshare, residential and resort condominiums, and single-family residences. 

Assignment Profile

REH served as business advisors and transaction consultants to Bishop Holdings Corporation of Hawaii, an affiliate of Kamehameha Schools, for the solicitation and negotiation of a master developer agreement for the remaining 1,700 acres of undeveloped resort real estate land holdings within the Keauhou Resort on the Kona Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.
