Andrew Wharton, Managing Director
Andrew Wharton is a Managing Director of REH Capital Partners, LLC, based in the Fort Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Wharton's primary focus is on transactional services and operations performance improvement within the real estate and hospitality industries.
Prior to his association with REH in February 2012, Mr. Wharton was Managing Director at KPMG in the Hospitality and Real Estate Services Practice, providing advisory services to a wide variety of real estate and hospitality clients. Before that Mr. Wharton was CFO of ResidenSea, Ltd, where he provided overall leadership in the areas of finance, control, and operations of this developer and operator of a luxury "resort at sea" oceanliner that featured privately owned residential units, rental suites, spa, casino, and other amenities. Previous to ResidenSea, Mr. Wharton was a Sr. Manager in KPMG’s National Real Estate and Hospitality Practice where he held various positions over his 17-year tenure with the firm.

Mr. Wharton has over 38 years of diversified accounting, finance, and operational experience in the real estate and hospitality industries with emphasis on cruise lines, hotels, resorts, vacation real estate, developers, and construction companies.
Mr. Wharton has extensive transactional experience having completed numerous advisory assignments pertaining to mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions. Additionally, he has led numerous complex commercial litigation assignments pertaining to hotels and resorts.
Mr. Wharton is a Certified Public Accountant and earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University.
